As part of the international project SOCRAT – Networking Crafts and Contemporary Art for Sustainable Tourism (Interreg Italy–Croatia 2021–2027), Gallery Novo in Pula hosted a roundtable discussion on March 17, 2026, dedicated to ceramics and sculpture through the perspectives of contemporary art, cultural heritage and applied artistic practices.
The programme was organised within the Creative Living Lab for Ceramics and Sculpture and brought together artists, curators, researchers and cultural heritage professionals.
Participants included: Tatjana Bradara, PhD (Archaeological Museum of Istria), Alka Starac, PhD (Archaeological Museum of Istria), Michele Giangrande and Rino Banko. The discussion was moderated by Stephanie Peršić.
Metamedij contributed through organisational and production support for the programme at Gallery Novo, as well as through participation in professional discussions related to contemporary art, crafts, public space and sustainable cultural heritage management.
The activity forms part of the organisation’s ongoing work in the fields of cultural policy, international cooperation and interdisciplinary cultural programmes.
