Metamedia Association

Metamedia encourages artistic and cultural initiatives in the field of new media arts & technologies.

We are a non-profit organization that develops youth culture by organizing research, education, production, presentation and promotion on a national and international level. The association was established in 2001 (12th June) with the goal to develop audio visual arts, multimedia, culture, and to improve the quality of life of youth through educative, cultural and other activities. In the last 15 years the association played an important role in the development of non-institutional education, youth culture and active youth participation through media & art projects.

to be one of the main acters in the development of independent cultural politics and production in the field of new media arts & practices

Mission

A non-profit organization focused on the development of youth culture in the field of new media, technologies, and media arts, promoting education, presentation and promotion on the national and international level.

Main goals

to improve conditions for production of young authors and their publishing in the field of new media arts and technologies
to strenghten the non-institutional education for youth in the field of new media arts and practices
to develop media literacy and information as prerequisites for the development of a democratic society
to foster the citizen participation in the policy-making process in the field of independent culture and youth policy
to develop new and innovative projects and to expand the sphere of influence through inter sectoral collaboration
